Get ready to unleash your research potential - introducing PEER Pitches 2023! We're excited to invite you, the brightest student minds, to showcase your innovative research ideas and take the stage in shaping the future.
Submit a research proposal for your research idea in teams of up to three students to the PEER Student Committee. You can participate by filling out the form. (In case your proposal uses figures and tables, you can download the Word form here. Once you have completed the form, please email a PDF copy to arjhunjhunwala@ucdavis.edu with the subject line: "Entry for PEER Pitches 2023."). The deadline for submitting the participation form is July 28th, 2023, at 11:59 PM PDT.
The committee will select the top 10 proposals, and the chosen participants will have the opportunity to present their research idea as a 3-5 minute pitch to a distinguished audience of researchers, professors, and industry experts at the highly anticipated PEER Annual Meeting 2023. Exciting cash prizes and a certificate of recognition by PEER await the top three pitches!
Participation is open to all students, both graduate and undergraduate, who are eager to push the boundaries of knowledge! This is your chance to shine and make a lasting impact in your field.
Evaluation of the proposals will consider various criteria, including intellectual merit, broader impact, research plan, and writing quality. Detailed information on the competition rules can be found here.
