2025 PEER LBNL Workshop on the Regional Scale Simulated Ground Motion Database (SGMD) for the San Francisco Bay Area

The Pacific Earthquake Engineering Research Center (PEER) and the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory are collaborating on the development of the first Regional-scale Simulated Ground Motion Database (SGMD) for the San Francisco Bay Area.

This community workshop will discuss technical aspects of regional scale simulations and the implementation of the database on March 24, 2025 in the Banatao Auditorium, Sutardja Dai Hall on the UC Berkeley campus.

The workshop will include presentations and discussion with technical experts and information on the planned database to inform both the research and infrastructure stakeholder communities.
