2025 PEER Annual Meeting Speaker Bio: Silvia Mazzoni is a Project Scientist at the Garrick Institute for the Risk Sciences at UCLA and an Applications Specialist at DesignSafe -- an NSF-funded Cyberinfrastructure that provides cloud-based tools to manage, analyze, understand, and publish critical data for research to understand the impacts of natural hazards. Silvia is knows for her work as part of the OpenSees Development Team, as well as her contributions to past NGA projects. Her contributions focus on improving the modeling and analysis of structural systems to enhance safety and resilience in engineering design. Updated February, 2025.
